A Century of Excellence

For over a hundred years, Tachikara® has been the heartbeat of the volleyball court. Since our founding in 1915, we have been driven by a singular mission: to create a ball that feels like a natural extension of the athlete. What started as a quest for technical perfection has blossomed into a global legacy of quality, making our equipment the gold standard for players who demand the best. From the first whistle of a middle school tournament to the high-stakes atmosphere of professional play, Tachikara® is there.

The Art of Craftsmanship

At Tachikara®, we believe that greatness is found in the details. A volleyball is not merely a sphere of leather and air; it is a precision instrument. We have spent decades mastering the balance between durability and touch. Our proprietary technologies—like the revolutionary Sensi-Tec® composite covers and our precision-balanced bladders—ensure that every ball offers a predictable flight and a soft, responsive feel. This commitment to innovation means that when a player goes for a diving dig or a powerful spike, they can trust the ball to perform exactly as intended. We don't just manufacture gear; we engineer confidence.

Where Dedication Meets Performance

We know that volleyball is a sport of repetition and relentless effort. That’s why durability is woven into our DNA. Coaches and athletic directors choose Tachikara® because our balls are built to withstand the rigors of daily practice without losing their shape or their "pop." We offer a dependable value that ensures your focus remains where it belongs: on the scoreboard and the growth of your team.

Empowering the Next Generation

As we look toward the future, our commitment to the volleyball community remains stronger than ever. We are constantly evolving, researching new materials, and listening to the athletes who live and breathe this sport. Tachikara® is more than a brand name; it is a promise of consistency to every coach, a mark of quality for every program, and a badge of honor for every athlete. We are proud to have been part of the game's history, and we are even more excited to be part of yours.
